1.What the site stores
We, the people who run VIRLO, keep one database on the site's server. Besides public price data for Flywheel's pools, it holds two kinds of records:
- Drafts
- The post's link and id, its platform, the author's public name and handle, the token's name, ticker, description and logo style, the suggestions, and when the draft was made and last saved.
- Launches
- The wallet that becomes the token's creator, the token's details as launched, the address of its logo on IPFS, the launch terms and any opening buy, the transaction hash, the token's address, the launch status, and the technical details used to match the transaction.
The database never holds a post's text or title, the words you type to describe a post, your IP address, an email address or a password.
2.The post you link
When you paste a link, our server asks the post's platform for the data it publishes for embeds: the oEmbed services of X, YouTube, Reddit and TikTok, and Telegram's public post widget. The request comes from our server, not from your browser.
The post's text is used to suggest names and to show a short excerpt on the draft page. It stays in the app's memory and is never written to the database. Suggestions can reuse words from the post, and they are saved with the draft.
If an AI service is connected, the draft page says the suggestions came from AI. Our server then sends that service the post's text, the words you typed, the platform's name, and the author's name and handle, which the service is told not to use.
Links from other platforms are recognized by their address only. Nothing is fetched from those platforms.
3.Your wallet
The site never sees your private keys or seed phrase. It asks your wallet for its address and network, and for the signatures you approve.
Your wallet's address goes to our server when you open the dashboard, view your rewards, prepare a claim or prepare a launch, so the server can read the chain for you. The server stores the address only with a launch you prepare, as the wallet that becomes the token's creator.
4.What becomes public
- On Robinhood Chain
- Everything in a launch transaction, permanently: the creator's wallet, the token's name, ticker and description, its website link, its logo address and any opening buy.
- On IPFS
- The token's logo, pinned through Pinata at launch. Anyone can copy it, so it cannot be fully removed later.
- On VIRLO
- A launched token's page shows the creator's wallet, the link to the source post and the post author's public name or handle. Drafts are not listed anywhere, but anyone with a draft's link can open it, and each draft page says how many other drafts use the same post.
5.In your browser
VIRLO sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or trackers. Its pages, fonts and video all come from this site.
Your browser's local storage keeps your wallet connection, including the wallet's address and network, so the site can reconnect. It also keeps the hash of a launch transaction you sent, so a reload can follow it. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes both.
6.Other services
These services receive data when you use VIRLO:
- Server host
- The hosting company that runs our server keeps the database on its disks.
- Cloudflare
- Sits in front of the site and handles every request, including your IP address and browser details. It can set its own security cookie when it checks a visitor.
- PublicNode and dRPC
- Public Robinhood Chain RPC services. Our server reads the chain through them, and your browser can too. They see the addresses being read, and your IP address when the read comes from your browser.
- The post's platform
- Receives our server's request for the post's embed data.
- AI service
- Receives the post's text and the other details listed above, only when one is connected.
- Pinata
- Receives each token's logo image and file name at launch, and pins the image on IPFS.
- Flywheel
- Supplies the public token list and market data the site shows. Your launches and claims go to Flywheel's contracts on Robinhood Chain.
- Your wallet
- Separate software. What it records is up to the company that makes it.
Links to Flywheel, Blockscout and source posts take you to those sites.
7.How long data is kept
Drafts and launch records have no set end date yet. A launched token's on-chain website link points to a page on VIRLO, so we keep its draft and launch record for as long as the token exists.
The app holds post texts, and the IP addresses it uses to limit requests per minute, only in memory. It never writes them to disk, and a restart clears them.
9.Updates and contact
We may update this notice. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
A contact address for privacy questions and requests is not published yet. It will be added here before this draft becomes final.
